Betty A. Plass

August 17, 1926 - June 6, 2015

Betty A. Plass, 88, of Greenport, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Pine Haven Nursing Home in Philmont. Born on August 17, 1926 in Czechoslovakia, she is the daughter of the late Stephen and Anna (Buno) Cernak. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Henry V. Plass. Mrs. Plass was a hairdresser and employed at various beauty salons in Hudson. Betty and Henry were active members of the Apple Valley Square Dancers. She was very devoted to St. Matthew's Church and loved golfing and fishing. Betty is survived by her loving family and faithful friends. A calling hour will begin at 10 am Friday at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home. Services will follow at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cedar Park Cemetery.
