Geraldine E. Nero, 92, of Hudson passed away Monday March 12, 2018 at Pine Haven Nursing Facility. Born February 22, 1926 in Plattsburgh, NY, she is the daughter of George and Frances (Harvey) Wells. For many years Geraldine was a teller at the Hudson City Savings Institution. She was also a member of the Golden Agers and the Ladies of Mt. Carmel Shrine. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Tina and Peter Marra, grandchildren Nicholas (Jennifer) Marra, Steven Marra, Angela Marra , and Lindsay (Tyson) Gajda, siblings, Carol Buckley, Mary Collins, Charles, Reginald, Lawrence and James Wells, and seven great grandchildren. Geraldine is predeceased by her husband Louis Nero and sisters Joan Harris, Veronica Light, Katherine Stone and Sheila Schneider. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday March 16, at 10:00am from the St. Mary’s Holy Trinity Parish in Hudson. Interment will be in Cedar Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7pm at the Bates & Anderson-Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home.
