Marian C. Nardone

Marian C. Nardone, 75, a two-year resident of The Fireman’s Home in Hudson, NY died on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson. She was born July 10, 1946, in Brooklyn, NY to Clem and Muriel Hunter Capuano. She was married to the love of her life, Anthony Nardone, Sr. for 51 years. Mr. Nardone predeceased her on August 7, 2020. Marian was a long-time resident of Poughquag, NY and was a homemaker and caretaker for many years and later worked at Bill Kieran, Inc. car dealership in Pawling and then for M & S of Pawling until her retirement in 2011. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed taking care of her family. She was so full of life and always put family first. Marian was the sweetest soul anyone was blessed to share her company with. She was spunky and fun and the life of the party. Everyone would go to her for advice, and she would always cook the best homemade Italian meals, especially her meatballs with raisins. Throughout her life, she enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow, and taking motorcycle rides with her husband Marian is survived by her children Lorraine Ruffino and husband Andy of Morris, NY, Anthony Nardone, Jr. and wife Doris of Poughkeepsie, Nancy Wells and husband David of Hyde Park and Elizabeth Kirchner of Highland. Also surviving are her three sisters, Lorraine Capuano-Casella and Diane Capuano both of Long Island and Susan Mercay of Hyde Park. She is survived by seven grandchildren, Rebecca Ruffino, Anthony Nardone III, Lisa Nardone, Paul Nardone, Todd Johnson, Nicole Howie and Daniel Kirchner. She was also blessed with four great grandchildren, Gianna Johnson, Ana Kirchner, Connor, and Cadence Howie along with many cousins, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Roger Kirchner. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, December 6, 2021, at The Fireman’s Home, 125 Harry Howard Ave, Hudson, NY. Graveside service will be at 2:30 at St. Peters Cemetery, Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, NY. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at the Fireman’s Home for their wonderful and compassionate care. You were Marian’s special family and she loved you all.
